This poster is arcade fan-service in its finest.  We’ve got all the major players here in a head to head, no-holds-barred battle for 8-bit supremacy.  What I find particularly amusing is how the Joust sprites are just way worse than everything else.  What gives, Williams Electronics?

The guys at DKNG, the studio behind this print, have some really exceptional posters under their belt.  There’s even an amazing “making-of” video to accompany their Explosions in the Sky print.

I compiled a grid that includes every unique hero that has been picked at the tournament so far. Let me know if I’m missing anyone.

These were screenshotted from the MYM v M5 game hero selection.  The spectator had his cursor over the Dire portrait the whole time, so sorry for that.  I’ll be grabbing more as the games go on.
