Lab Cast is a series about research projects in the Media Lab at MIT. They might not be the most exciting video you see in a day, but the webcasts are nicely produced and not overly technical. Most university lab work doesn’t make it into the media, so this is a chance to see research that is truly cutting edge.

Notice how those glasses don’t have a frame…at all. That’s because they’re attached to a bar piercing through the bridge of the nose. Morpheus would be so jealous. If your mind, like mine, goes instantly to the idea of having your glasses ripped off then fear not, they’re attached by magnets.
