This may be only for the few out there that really appreciate Architecture. If you do, you should be reading ArchDaily. I’ve added them to my RSS and I’m not even that into it, great images of well designed buildings, however, is one thing I can get behind.

There are two known facts about high powered laser pointers, they’re expensive, but AWESOME. The little known fact is that, with the right know-how, you can amp up your cheap one into a match-lightin’, balloon-poppin’, leather-etchin’, rad-sauce version. Wired has this short and simple tutorial on how to do just that. So get on it.
Why stick with the stoic old two handed clock? Asprial Clocks takes it up a notch with the truly unique spiral formed clock. Unfortunately at £350 it might not be the most affordable, any inspiring clock makers out there want to make me one?

National Geographic is known for their images. Somehow they manage to corral the best natural photographers in to one place, so it was no surprise to me when every image that sprung up in their International Photography Contest set was as good as the last. This might be the best way to supplement your Commons addiction.

I’m not sure if it’s because this house is just down the street (relatively speaking) or because it really is stunning, but this house from ZERAFA caught my eye. The New York City architecture firm designed this 5,000 sf. home in Niagara Falls, Ontario for a private client. If only I had the money…

Charles Chary, aka Paper Extravaganza, is one creative paper crafter. He crafts topographical map type paper installations out of nothing more than paper and glue. Scope out his entire set of works, as they vary in design and style. I really like this guy, reminds me of stalagmites and stalactites of some cozy bear cave.
Okay, so I’m not always the most socially conscientious person in the world, but when I found out how I could get behind a good cause like this, I decided to give it a go. So here’s the deets, Movember (portmanteau of Mustache and November) is a worldwide month long awareness campaign for prostate cancer. You can donate, join the CONVOKE team, or get more information from my donation profile. Please help out a worthwhile cause, and I promise to not disappoint.
Stephen Wiltshire has an incredible gift, super human even. Stephen draws city skylines at incredible detail FROM MEMORY. Steven was diagnosed at autistic at age 3 and has been drawing city skylines since age 5. His more recent works are cityscapes on huge canvasses and can be purchased scaled or full sized (up to 6 m x 1 m) here.
If you know me, you’d know I have an unexplainable fetish for squids. SylvanSF has this and more in their new lineup. Unfortunately there is only a few select stores that carry this furniture, but if you can find it, it might be worth it (and if you manage to get you hands on the squid trunk, you know Christmas IS just around the corner).
